100%. Sandro runs the football operation, not clem or Angus. It's on him. Hope Morris stays, like you say I fully believe he can get us promoted. If he can continue to show some promise with this squad until May similar to how Wellens did, he will be competitive next season. |

Not sure Morris is the Messiah, but, theoretically, if Lyndsey was that bad, but still got some good results, then Morris should be able to deliver much more. Continual improvement at the backend of the season might enable us to sneak into the playoffs, who knows. Personally, I think that’s a bridge too far. I think I went for 10-13th as my prediction this year. Don’t think I’ll be far off, but will be happy to be proved wrong. |

i also find it interesting to compare a player vs their time with us. Many times it validates our opinions, sometimes we find ourselves looking on in bewilderment at what they achieve. I mean, who would have though Paul Mullin would be a TV star? He was a good hard worker upfront for us, but 30 goal a season friend of Ryan Reynolds, nah.

There are no rules but more often than not this thread is used for fans to post about the goalscoring exploits of ex-players, or the thing about Razor Ruddock having a gastric band and losing a shit load of weight, or long forgotten players of the past appearing in a newspaper article in the Gainsborough Telegraph etc etc. Everyone on here knows about Scott Lindsey and that he's doing shit, there is absolutely no reason not to bring it up on this thread of course as it's relevant to the topic but it does get a little tedious at times. At least the weird mini obsession with Port Vale has gone away! |

Translated- what you posted is fine and on topic but we dont do it like that around here and it upsets us if anyone rocks the boat or offers an opinion that isnt uniform with our little private sub forums views. This is exactly why a lot of people shy away from this forum- its way too cliquey. Fully expect my username/bio to be tampered with now (that never gets a little tedious for you lot). |
