It must have been absolutely clear to the players that Power wasn’t going to fund a L1 squad capable of challenging. There was that bollocks we had bid £200,000 for Yates when Rotherham said that they had not received a bid. Yates sees his buddy Doyle leave and the rest of the decent players not even offered deals.
Wellens with a budget and Yates would have signed.
