Who the fuck pays those kind of prices for alcohol?

I feel ripped off paying £3+ for a bottle of Bud in Old Town.

I'd feel ripped off paying anything for a bottle of Bud.

In Barcelona 2 lagers and a glass of wine - 27 euros.

Most i've paid for a Guinness was 60 Hong Kong Dollars. (about 6 quid).

We charge 6.50 euros for a Guinness, which for most of this season was of course about £6.50, pretty steep and I hate telling new customers how much...

It's been around a long time, although is now to be seen in a lot of pubs. It's quite famous in america too, started hearing references to it on tv shows and films recently. We always used to havev to get it from that old drinks shop on wood street as it was the only place that sold it.

Round the back of the Taj hotel in Mumbai (the one that was attacked by terrorists) is another hotel which has a club in it.

It was 1000 rupees to get in (about £12), which got you 10 drinks in the form of tokens, which you exchanged at the bar.

I used up all the tokens and went back to the bar for 3 vodka's and cokes for myself and the other lads I was with. The barman said 1000 rupees, which I thought was a bit steep. But I gave him a 1000 rupee note. I couldnt hear him, but I could tell he wanted more money. A lot more, almost 10,000 rupees.

I put my money back in my pocket and walked away. Dont think you were supposed to use up all the tokens.
