Pie Man - can I respectfully ask you and anyone else who is NOT interested in travelling to Austria to keep it to yourselves. I really don't want STFC fans to appear as a bunch of knobs who don't care about their club and can't be bothered to get of their asses and follow their club abroad.

To put this into perspective, STFC had between 6 and 12 fans at their 3 games in Austria last year. Plymouth took about 200 (yes, two hundred) when they played in Austria.

There is no need to reply to this unless you are interested in joining me on tour.

Plymouth are a bigger club than us though

According to your own statistics, they are 16.6 to 33.3 times bigger than us.

Probably because they don't have someone joining their message board on a Pied Piper of Hamelin mission to lead an army of town fans to Austria for a pre-season tour.

Are you wound up because people have got other things they need to spend their money and time on?

Fans have been to their fair share of pre-season and Wiltshire Shield matches over the years. It's a good laugh and sometimes you can't help but watch these pointless matches because you have the buzz.

Just to clarify, I'm not having a holiday this year and I'm not in prison. It is fun winding you up though, but I suspect you're having as much fun as me  Smiley

I haven't posted my real reason for not being able to go because you've already shot people down for having other important commitments. Your attitude saddens me.

Can you shut the fuck up about Austria. We all know you're going - good luck. To be honest the thuoght of spending money and time and ending up stood next to a stupid cunt like you depresses the fucking hell out of me - even more than the family barbecue that I'm just about to do.
Like a lot of others on here there's a balance to be had of supporting STFC and having a life. Some of us have families, others of us are suffering due to the recession. The last thing a lot of Town fans need is a patronising fuckwit like you bragging on here.

You say about 6 fans going.

I know a couple of people who booked up a flight for the Fenerbahce game, the date of that game was then moved 24 hours, just 3 days before the game. So their flights were useless.

Most working people just do not have the sort of time where they can book a week off, not knowing who, when and where we might be playing.

I slagged it off big time last year. Although I was well impressed by the opposition, its still a pre season friendly, which borders on a training session. Needs more planning in advance.

So I think they'll be lucky if 3 fans go this year.

The problem is people's wifes and kids want a propper holiday, beaches etc not being dragged around villages of austria watching glorified training sessions.

I love my football as much as the next person but i also like to spend some time with the wife and family away from the football, and im sure many more like to do that too.

I get it. You all work for the Swiss Tourist Board.
