About time they change this. Last season, we had the opposite what we needed on the bench.

I hope we don't end up calling him that.

First the news of red seats in the away section of The Arkells, now this.

Who said close season was boring?

Have we got enough seats in the dugout? Meh, the token youth sub can sit on the floor and be grateful Smiley

Think you've probably just highlighted the next ground improvement.

Picking your bench should be part of the match tactics. 3 substitutions allowed - 3 people on the bench. Take the advantage away from teams which have massive squads.

This is great news for the game.Totally agree Ben,it will also allow teams to bleed their youngsters at first team level imo.

Bleed them? Are we getting a medieval physio? I can just see the mystical cowled figure, running onto the pitch, though not so fast as to risk tripping over his monk's robe, ready to attend to injuries with the "magic leeches".

Oooh, can we have half-time jousting as well?

Talking of which, who built them and why couldn't they manage to get one either side of the halfway line. It looks bloody stupid having them both on the same side. Maybe if they have to rebuild them for the extra subs they will move them to the correct place, maybe building them in to the stand with those airline seats they have at Old Trafford.

Anything else you want? Anyway this rule can only be a good thing and with a squad of 22 or 24 it gives each player that incentive of thinking they could be involved

They're either side of the tunnel, which makes sense enough to me. And why do we need airline seats? They seem totally pointless to me, you want your subs keeping warm not getting cosy in the dugout
