Look at us, all clapping him and stuff, it makes me sick....... (Am I gonna get banned for this?)

It still looks so wrong seeing him a Town shirt.

Just to dilute the hatred, look at this belter from Fjortoft, ahh the memories....

I remember him putting in a few decent performances for us.  We had recently lost Summerbee and, while not in Buzzer's league, Beauchamp could cross well which helped with the wide game we were still playing under Gorman.

Oxford fans were gutted when we signed him, and many of them never forgave him for it...even after he went back there.

Higher expectations in those days.

He certainly had his moments, could've been a great player but alas, he was yet another talent crushed by the 'hard-work-above-all-else' ethic instilled by McMoan.

Not got many goals of Jan's, WBA away, Brighton Home, Port Vale Home, Charlton Away, I think thats it...

I've been looking for a video of that Fjortoft goal for years. Cheers. If you can put anything else on youtube please do.

Sad seeing Kevin Morris sat on the bench for, if I recall correctly, was the last time at the County Ground.

I've transferred a load of old Town videos onto my PC, most from the Hoddle era, some from McMahon.

I do have the full WBA away match recorded from the TV though.

I'm thinking of burning them onto DVD's, I'm sure it will contravene all kinds of copyright but I could always send out a few copies to people if there was the interest??

Here is a link to all the goals I've uploaded so far -

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=braindown73&aq=f

No intentions to load all the vids, I only uploaded them so I could post to this site...

Just to balance the books, here's some 'harsh treatment' being metered out in our Joey's direction....

Was that the game where he got subbed at half time because everyone just kept kicking two lumps out of him?

Correct...think we lost 3-0 at home to Charlton...and beat them 4-0 away...think Beauchamp equalised on agg in the 90th....maybe wrong.
