I remember him putting in a few decent performances for us. We had recently lost Summerbee and, while not in Buzzer's league, Beauchamp could cross well which helped with the wide game we were still playing under Gorman.
Oxford fans were gutted when we signed him, and many of them never forgave him for it...even after he went back there.

I've transferred a load of old Town videos onto my PC, most from the Hoddle era, some from McMahon. I do have the full WBA away match recorded from the TV though. Correct...think we lost 3-0 at home to Charlton...and beat them 4-0 away...think Beauchamp equalised on agg in the 90th....maybe wrong. |
