Torquay Winning 2-0 against Cambridge, with 5 mins to go at Wembley. Cambridge will win the BSP next season. 2 former Scummers Tim Sills and Chris Hargreaves scoring for Torquay.

Fucking loved Torquay away last time. Was it an inflatable shark, or dolphin? The away terracing was real old school and the noise we generated was brilliant. I also seem to remember Phil Smith having a good game and celebrating with us at the end.

Proper football club, proper fans, good day out - welcome back Torquay. Made me laugh when we last played them and they sang "Dirty Northern Bastards" to us - quality.

Made me laugh when they were chanting "YOUR NOT SINGING ANYMORE" and then you just hear a roar and we score!
Here is the video

Early Paul Sturrock match, terrible game won by a terrible referee decision But Phil Smith embracing the the Town faithful was goooood. Jamie Ward caused us some problems that day. Missed a one-on-one against Smith who quite calmly snatched the ball from his feet. Cambridge won't compete next year well, it's hard to predict at this stage because Non-League transfer season is crazy. Oxford are currently forming quite a squad - Midson and Constable next season should be productive.

First match for Sturrock...I remember one a couple of seasons previous, which ended up 2-2. Think SSP got both of ours, one a real scuffed effort, Jamie Slabber gave a performance of rare striking incompetence My first trip to Plainmoor was Easter Monday 67...for some reason it kicked off at 11:00 in the morning...which meant the Rimes coach departed at something like 5:30 in the morning, to wend the way to Devon on the pre M4 roads. We got beat 1-0

Think SSP got both of ours, one a real scuffed effort, Jamie Slabber gave a performance of rare striking incompetence I went to that - Alex Russell, Akinfenwa, Constintine and Kuffour gave us a reasonably torrid time. After the game I got threatened by a group of Torquay 'supporting' Mancs (alot of North Westerners down there).
