not sure i'm too bothered really. he was a tart with a bad attitude at the end of the season. but he probably could've banged in a decent number next season.

sounds familiar, did he miss any important penalties for you as well?

I have to admit that I find it funny as fuck but it does go to prove just how much of a cunt he is!

You may regret this, and get a case of Steve White syndrome.

Essentially White's 30 odd goals propelled Hereford into the Div 4 PO's, despite being 33......he wanted a two year contract Hereford weren't prepared to pay and got relegated following season because of a lack of firepower.

It could be argued that Mooney's 15, kept you in the league, had you offered a decent deal I'm sure he could have done a similar job next season, without him though could be a struggle.

slotted 2 pens in one match:

don't think he took any others.

i don't think he's a cunt. we offered him reduced terms this time round plus messed him about last year too. fair enough.

There's no reasoning with FK though. Whatever he says or thinks goes. If he thinks Mooney's worth £500pw less than last year then that's the end of it.

Not necessarily out as he's got the money, it's just he's utterly clueless when it comes to running a football club. All he needs is to sacrifice his ego a little by appointing a Managing Director to make decisions when he's not there (which is often) and run a club like one should be. But he's to stubborn to do that, he's made millions by having sole responsibility for hotel franchises making every little decision and it's worked well for him financially, so he doesn't see a need to change.

By my calculation Mooney's goals were worth 17 points to you last season, although not over prolific he scored important goals.  Just measuring goals by numbers isn't always the best way....for example scoring 2 when you're already 2-0 perhaps isn't as good as  scoring 1 twice when its 0-0.

Take out the Mooney points and you still manage to stay up by 4 points from Kiddy.

Plus we'd have got another striker if we hadn't have signed Mooney.

Mooney was a really good player for us but far too cocky.  I remember he scored a cracker against Bournemouth at home.... Back in the days when we got decent gates of 7000+ every week.
