Sad, but will be the first of many, until the idiots running the prem and running the clubs sort out the stupid amounts of money they are chucking away.

No money filtering down, foreign imports on stupid money, pushing not so good higher paid players down the leagues, and them expecting more, i know footballs business model is , but some serious governance needs to be put in place, other wise there will only be a couple of leagues in a few years, as almost every club will be bankrupt.

Thats bollocks, its got fuck all to do with the Premier League.
If clubs in the Championship or lower throw money about they haven't got its no ones fault except theirs.

Its a simplistic view i grant you, but the money should definately be spread more evenly, that would cut a lot of crap at the top, and enable better functioning football clubs at the bottom.

Its got alot to do with the Prem..years back the top division were always taking a punt and buying players from clubs like Fisher..there should be a limit on foreign youngsters in the prem...the reserve sides are packed with youngsters from abroad..wrong in my view, yes clubs should be accountable...but its funny how all the prem clubs in the shit get out of it...why simple...the wads of tv cash they get from us mugs paying weekly,,,more..alot more should be going to the non league clubs IMO...with stringent rules on what they can spend it on.

The huge squads in the Premier Leagues are hoovering up all the talent. They play reserve football for rediculous money, watched by no one.
Its a double wammy of Premier League clubs buying up any teenage talent when they are still school aged. Then the older players who arent interested in falling down the lower leagues, because they cant make anywhere near the same money.
Premier League wealth stops clubs down the football pyramid getting value for money.
And that effect has a knock on all the way down to Conference South. Anyone remmember Clive Walker and the cup runs he had with Woking? Will you get Frank Lampard playing until he's 40 for Grays Athletic?

Probably not. They won't look like Alan Cork in the Premiership either... Look at that beard. http://www.sporting-heroes.net/files_football/CORK_Alan_19930403_GH_L.jpg
