Sold 3600 currently vs 4600/700 Season ticket holders at the end of the season I think was the comparison.

That's not all that bad is it? You would expect that to rise to around 4000 by the start of the season. Which mean only being 600\700 down from the end of the season.

That's quite a healthy figure given the financial climate and crap season, I definitely misheard what they said on the radio.

Last season they were still selling them off a the cheaper price into August weren't they?

I think we're going to have to accept we'll be quite a bit down on last season, unless they extend the offer again. Don't forget there was the double incentive of a cheap price and a cheaper price if we hit 6k, whereas this time it's all incremental based on the deadlines, which are much earlier.

Now the question: Does the club extend the deadline or stick to their initil dates? If they keep extending these deadlines they become a bit meaningless.

If they keep on extending the deadline, they could well upset those who did stump up early, which will make it even harder to attract early sales next year

I thought we sold 5300 tickets last year, or am I misreading RT's post ?

Yes. He quoted the number of season tickets still valid at the end of last season. I'm guessing that means around 600 people didn't pay the second installment last year.

coming up to 4k under the current circumstances is fantastic, the league we are in, the current financial climate, the general apathetic fans views, the poor performances by the dozen last season.

Overall pretty good methinks.

I'm really excited about next season, just think there will be more of a buzz, especially since half the squad have been axed!

Thats the 600 fairweather fans who we blame for not having two installments this year then.

I am excited about next season cos I think Wilson knows what hes doing. But there is one thing that worries me - where will the goals come from without Cox?  Sad
