Can't see this posted anywhere else...

Stockport appear to really be in the shit..... Have made Jim Gannon redundant today along with other members of the coaching staff... The administrators apparently have made almost all staff at Stockport redundant??

Gannon must have been on top wages or something? Stockport fans can't be happy, I am pretty sure they love the guy up there.

Saw this earlier, really bad, i'm pretty sure they are losing their ground also and maybe sharing with macclesfield, they could really go under, which would be a shame, i hope they get out of it.

Who owns the Ground? Sale RFC? I know Sale paid Stockport County's police costs meaning that they could play their local derby against Crewe, othjerwise it had to be played behind closed doors.

A real shame for the fans and the club, but if the administrators think that's what is necessary for the club to survive then it has to be done. I'd expect them to be offloading a fair few players this summer and expect they'll have a pretty crap time next season

I think from memory their trust took over the club (who do not own the ground - beleivei t is aowned by someone else) when no one else wanted to , they been fighting all season against the debts that was left and was close to a deal to manage debts and one of the creditors decided to pull the rug from under them.  I do feel for the trust that took the club over as they done their best with a bad lot, but now obviously with the administrators they will cut costs everywhere. I fear for them if they don't find a buyer.
