If you think back to 03/04, the last time we got to the Div 3 PO's, then we knew we had a top striker and some other decent performers, and like now quite a few going out the door. It was the number and calibre of the new recruits which sent out the message, that we meant business. Mooney, Igoe, even dear old Adie Viveash, O'Hanlon, Howard, Nicho before the bottle, Rhys Evans, Grunt Sniff.
This the sort of thing we need to see from Wilson....OK 3 of those players were untried Prem fall outs, but they looked to have a bit of potential and so it proved to an extent.
It should make for an interesting close and pre season.
