More Help for Heroes?

TOWN’S Help for Heroes could become an annual event following the outstanding success of their debut of the charity day at the County Ground.

Good idea Luci. A cause that I would support.

As I have mentioned elsewhere, the Ghurka's are my favourite military regiment. Bar none.

The military band on Saturday was excellent, really good to see some drums inside the ground at last.

They could have played Farmer's Boy....when a nipper, there always seemed to be a military band at the CG...Farmers Boy was the regimental tune of the Wilts and Berks..now the Duke of Edinburgh's.  It was sung by a lot in the crowd, who presumably had been in the regiment or done conscripted military service which was about to finish.
