Good player, but it's not often you see the effect of a crowd put to good use to get a player subbed. I remember a game at home quite a few years ago when we were playing Watford (or some other team). They had a young defender who Chalky was really winding up. I think he lost the plot when Chalky showed him a polite hand gesture whilst facing the Town End ; I think he ended up getting subbed.

True Rich...but most quality players are...most away fans think Cox is arrogant.

Cox doesn't get sent off for proverbially throwing his toys out of his pram though

We were interested in signing Beckford before Leeds bought him.
Very good player.
Surprisingly he is mid 20s. I thought he was younger than that.

Possibly why the big leagues haven't placed a bid that would suit Leeds' probable asking price? 0 goals in 10 Championship appearances in his career thus far.

There was also the tea towel incident, was that when we beat Yeovil 4-2? I'm pretty sure his outburst which got him the red card was largely due to the abuse he got from the Town End

Best toy throwing was definitely Deane Gorre when he wsa playing for 'uddersfield. Sadly referee rather than fan induced.

I like it when players get really upset - it shows their passion....John Aldridge springs to mind when we were beating Tranmere in the play off game at home. I was at the game but saw the highlights afterwards....not a happy chappy (especially when his header was disallowed).

It looked a perfectly good header as well. In that game who was the tranmere defender who scored the OG, made a hash of a clearence for the second goal and played Mitchell/Maskell onside for the third. He was a legend!
