Without wishing to be overly cynical, Swine Flu is the ultimate skive opportunity, diagnosis purely over the phone and it's not possible to get a Doctor's note, plus nobody will want you in even if you have a mild sneeze.
That's true but what if you claim to have it and have the week off then actually get it afterwards. That could look a bit bad. |

There's a kid at my youngest's nursery got it apparently. So given that the youngest is the finest carrier of diseases of all forms known to man that'll be all of us laid up with it, just in time for my first full week off since Christmas next week.

I dont think thats actually true tho, is it? My Sister had the pig flu recently and she rekons it can return. Edit: Now the house is having an argument on the subject. I may be wrong, apologies |
