Interesting hybrid...looks like a cross between a quinquereme and a carrack.

 In fact, I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to use the word quinquereme, having been forced to learn it as a 10 year old...and subsequently having no use for the knowledge.

Is that the one "of nineveh from distant Ophir" Reg-never forgotten that line!

But in the roman days they had a weapon known as 'incendiary pigs'. These weapons where literally pigs which where covered in tar, lit and then sent running (in much pain) towards the enemy front lines to cause havoc.

They were mostly used to scare the elephants away. If you could make an elephant charge back towards it's own army you're on to a winner.
