(gulp) In some ways I'd rather not think about this one, but if we lose, I can definitely see us going. Carlisle seem to be a mess... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/carlisle_united/7999381.stm I worry about Anyinsah, who turned us down, presumably because he saw the norvern outpost as a better bet than the CG. Why do the cunts put us through this shit...no wonder we were right up there in the recent survey of most stressed football fans. PS when I say recent it was published in Jan 07. http://www.theoffside.com/world-football/report-says-notts-county-most-stressful-football-club-to-support-in-england.htmlDon't suppose Notts County has changed much...MKD though, nah rubbish, but Carlisle in 3rd and it's showing. Points for late goal concession will have seen us race up the table this season.

Joe Anyinsah tore us to pieces in the away fixture last season. It's going to be scary but it's a case of wait and see what Swindon Town turn up

Knighton could have had them going the way of Workington, by the time he took them out of the FL.

Was it not Jimmy Quinn that loaned Glass to Carlisle?

Finishing with Leeds and MKD may look difficult, but by then they'll both be safe in the PO's with nothing to play for, other than the always difficult trying to guess opponents stuff and so a bit of squad rotation might be in order. Brighton saved their season on Monday...home games v Oldham and Stockport.

Dongs 4 points off 2nd with a game in hand? They could be playing for a lot more than home 2nd leg advantage in the PO's. And I'd still fancy leeds at home in the final game. Northampton have only won 3 of 18 this year, gaining 14 points from those 18 games. They've literally won 1 game a month since the turn of the year.

Agree. like all old folk he loves a bit of doom and gloom. Will Carlisle, Brighton, Hartlepool, Northampton & crewe all gain enough points to overtake us? bearing in mind that Brighton and Northampton have 1 & 2 games in hand respectivly but are 6 points behind I dont think so.

So you think 48 will be enough....3 seasons in the 00's, it has been, so it's at least possible.

most of the teams below need an extra point to make up the goal difference also. I think 48 might be enough, but dont really want to test that theory out. i think we'll end up with 52 anyhows.

Not 100% convinced 48 will be enough, but I fancy us to get at least another 2 points from the remaining games. like Sutton red says 48 for us is effectively 49 give the goal differences Are Brighton going to get 7 points from 12 available with an easier run of games, or are northampton going to get 7 from 15 from a harder run of games assuming we dont pick up any more points?
