I'll be very disappointed if its not Easto-apart from Timmy,he's the nearest thing we've got to a decent centre-mid in the entire squad

I hope it's Easton who plays - he was genuinely decent for us last season but it hasn't happened for whatever reason during this campaign.

I think wilson is going to fall for one of the classic STFC management errors of teh past few seasons - thinking that JPM should be good in central midfield. He isnt.

Good. Now perhaps we can see some players who can actually pass a ball to one of their team mates playing for us for a change

Easton is the obvious choice. He's playing for a new contract as well so good chance for him.

Kanyuke must be close to a return also playing for a contract

whilst timmy does keep the ball the majority of the time, it frustrates me that he often knocks the sideways rather than a defence splitting pass or travelling 20 yards before making that sideways pass....guess ray 'the crab' wilkins made a career out of it tho so I'll shut up...ok, the only request that we buy a midfielder that can accompany timmy please

That's a good observation DRS - was it Wilson or Malpas who first put him in CM ?

Wilson. Malpas just didn't have a brain that funtioned if a defender wasn't in defence.
