Interesting read on BBC about Posh's chairman and how he's financed them moving up the leagues

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/p/peterborough_united/8015421.stm

Liked the bit about Aaron Mclean - not too dissimilar to what we are going to face with Coxy quite soon.

'Wolverhampton Wanderers succeeded in encouraging Mclean to hand in a transfer request. But Macanthony made his intentions clear by slapping a £5m price tag on the former Grays man.

"Aaron Mclean will score a lot of goals next season and taking a couple of million pounds from a Championship club would be the worst bit of business I have ever done," said Macanthony. "Thirty-goals-per-season strikers do not grow on trees.

"I will not be bullied by other clubs and the games they play through agents or the media into selling my best players when it does not suit the football club."

Whereas many clubs would have folded and let the player have his way, Macanthony put his foot down and Mclean stayed'

according to the ticket office, we've been given 2,000 more tickets by Peterborough so we must be selling them!

The flaw in the song im afraid is that Vincent cant hit a ball up the fucking line to macca.

Good song though have a star

Vincent knocks it into touch, opposition break and score from the resulting throw dosnt have the same ring does it?

Got two terrace tickets about noon and was told we had sold about 600 so far.

Are none of the loan players eligible to play against Peterboro?

For some reason I thought OTJ was cleared to play. Soz if this has been clarified a million times already.

Ticket office line is busy, just took me 15 mins to get through for peterborough, but only 637 sold so far, so i'm guessing the bulk is season ticket renewals now everyone knows which league we are in.

I believe OTJ can play yes.

3 month loan deals are for a maximum of 90 days with GG and HRKs running out, seen as we signed OTJ weeks later he'll be fine.

Dunno who he will play at CB though. Morrison is injured (??) Kanyuka is injured, Greer cant play!!

Good point, Morrison could be back. If not I expect it would be the four you suggested.

I'd like a look at Thompson, also wouldn't mind seeing Marshall and Macklin given a half each.
