As we seem determined to take things to the wire with our inconsistent displays just had a quick look at last day of the seasons fixtures.  We are not the only one with a hard fixture, just look who Crewe, Carlisle and Northampton have.  Could get very interesting down job the bottom indeed, maybe we will just have to rely like the season we survived a few years back on the other relegation candidates being worse.  Rovers did a great job keeping us up that year  Cool

Saturday, 02 May 2009
Brighton v Stockport, 15:00
Bristol Rovers v Hartlepool, 15:00
Carlisle v Millwall, 15:00
Crewe v Leicester, 15:00
Hereford v Franchise, 15:00
Leeds v Northampton, 15:00
Leyton Orient v Huddersfield, 15:00
Peterborough v Swindon, 15:00
Scunthorpe v Tranmere, 15:00
Southend v Cheltenham, 15:00

I can think of just one positive of it going down to the last day, and that's that we might take a decent following.

However, I'd much rather we beat Brighton and Orient and get it sorted.

Peterborough is one place I have never visited. What's the parking like around the ground? Going by train means a change in London doesn't it?

Yeh, you'd have to get off at Paddington then get a train from Kings Cross (or is it Euston?) to Peterborough.

Just checked this out. Train to Paddington, tube to Kings Cross, train to Posh. Total journey time just under 3 hours. Word of warning...parts of the underground are subject to engineering work from 2nd May to 4th May, but I don't think it affects the Hammersmith and City line.

Parking's not too bad, the ground is fairly close to the city centre so there are usually lots of options.

It usually takes us a couple of hours to drive down to Swindon on a Saturday. I guess it might take a bit longer due to it being a Bank Holiday weekend. Apart from the A420 & the last bit on the A605 it's all dual carriageway.

I really think we need to be safe by this time - needing a result in this game would be awful.  A Peterboro team on their hols would still probably beat us.

There's engineering work every weekend. I've not checked the plans, but there's plenty of ways to get to Kings Cross on the tube. A bus would be pretty quick too.

Think if I am back from India I might drive to this one with my Peterborough supporting mate.

Anyone have any idea how long it would take to drive from Luxembourg to Peterborough?
