...back on friday.

anyone still into it. I decided to buy all the series on dvd and re-watch them in time for the start of the last series. I got a bit slack - I'm up to the end of series 2 - just got 3, 4 and 5 to watch by Friday!

The final season should be good, I've read a good few spoilers and it should be interesting.

I went through the first 5 seasons on DVD to remind myself of stuff, you also get to see things in a different perspective as you know what's going to happen. Watching all the extra's and listening to the commentaries is well worth it as they answer a few questions, especially the ones with the main producers / directors (whatever their names are).

one of the creators said his favourite internet fan theory was that it'll all turn out to be a dog's dream.

I'll be watching. Not just because I've watched too much to stop - but I thought the last series was an enjoyable return to form.

After deciding to stop watching it. I caught up on the end of the last series and wil watch this last series, but probably after it's finished so i don't have to put up with endless episodes full of nothing.

I wish they'd made lost about 3 series shorter, and much quicker, because they easily could have and it woulda been far more gripping. Wasn't it originally going to be 8 series, but the makers realised they were milking it far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far too much?

The whole draw out way that it is, makes me feel like the makers are laughing at the viewers for being mugs and watching it for so long. Smiley

It was the 3rd or 4th season that pissed everyone off, as it went nowhere for a long time. Then ABC said it will run to 6 seasons and everything started moving again as the writers could start moving towards the finish. The show runners have admitted it went off the boil and that being given an end date was the best thing that could happen.

Watching it again, the 5th season was pretty good as things started falling in to place as they linked things up.

Kind of funny that it has been such a big hit, when the ABC executives at the time the pilot was made were fired in part due to the high costs of the pilot ($6m or something like that) when they hadn't committed to it.

The fifth was good. And i enjoyed the first, but in hindsight i couldn't imagine sitting through a whole series before they just discover the hatch. Smiley

I am looking forward to seeing what the deal is with Richard Alpert.

He is just one massive mystery to me.

My mate was convinced that Alpert and Farraday were the same person for a while... I'm upset Farraday's sexy English ginger bird is dead, i had a thing for her. Juliet or Farraday's bird/love? I think i'd go with Juliet actually.

Juliet > Farraday's bird > Kate
