this is the funniest  british comedy since the young ones in the eighties.

Not a patch on Blackadder or even the IT Crowd IMO.

Or Spaced, Black Books, The Day Today, The Thick Of It.

IMHO.

or Brass eye or Peep Show.

Although I think it's probably on a similar level or slightly better than the IT Crowd, which can be fucking awful at times yet pretty hilarious at others.

Or The Office, or Nathan Barley, or I'm Alan Partridge.

Probably funnier than The Mighty Boosh though.

Part's of blackadder have aged horribly. Particularly the first series (which nobody really means anyway), but all the way through it has plenty jokes which just seem weak now. Still has moments of almost unrivalled brilliance which are still genius today though.

Just watched it for the first time. Very funny, although not as amazing as some have suggested in my opinion

I think Blackadder has actually aged rather well.  I love all four series but must say that Blackadder goes forth is the best single series of sitcom ever seen.

Looking forward to the next episode of the Inbetweeners - off topic, what the fuck does my missus see in Skins?  It is crap.
