I would expect DW to be pissed off at our gutless, wank display. I would also expect that the last thing he'd want to do is be grilled over our gutless, wank display.

Hardly a professional way to handle the situation was it.

As we don't know the reason why he didn't come out, it's a bit presumptious to call it unprofessional.

Oh do fuck off, no shock that you practically dissapeared on the 3 match winning streak then one defeat and your back on Wilsons back.

Personally I don't give a shit if its unprofessional, I would say the players performance was very unprofessional so if Wilson was like any of us he probably left very angry and I can relate to him just having a gut instinct just to storm out.

Reactions like this will get more reaction from the players than coming out and brave facing it saying the same old cliches.  Wilson will have them motivated for Saturday for sure and he will have the ability to keep us up.

Great result, reckon we are safe now.
Hardly world beaters yet though are we, but its a start.

The above was my post after the Northampton game, so fuck off yourself.

If I was Wilson, I probably would have gone sharpish too, to ensure I didn't say something I might regret - especially to the press!  He probably just wanted a cooling period.

I think this whole thing as been blown massively out of proportion.

I would imagine it was a family related situation, to get a taxi must mean it was pretty urgent..

The players don't need someone to shout at them to tell them they've dropped a bollock. Byrne's probably done plenty of that anyway. I would be worried if Wilson didn't go into training today and tell the players exactly what he thought and how they're going to start to rectify it though.

As for RS interviews, what does it matter if Byrne gives the interview? It always turns out as the same cliched pap anyway.

I'd hardly call it unprofessional.

I dont suppose its written in his contract that he HAS to talk to the media afterwards.

It is in RS's contract that they get access to the manager after the game though for a post match interview....

Manager or management?  Fact remains nobody know what happened, if anything at all. So you can't really call it unprofessional.

Toys out of the cot.
Poor old "at the end of the day" and "bad day at the office" Byrne left to carry the can.
Stupid cunt, thats actually offensive if for example he left early due to personal problems. To say Toys out the cot which is the wrong term anyway you dopey cunt without even knowing why he left is just retarded.

I do agree with your sentiment DRS but if it was for family reasons I would have expected someone at the club to say so, not explain the details but just to put a reason for his sudden departure.  I think it's a bit off that he's just walked out on the team, without any explanation (to the fans), nothing to get too bothered about it, but wouldn't like to see a repeat.

Would have liked to have seen someone acknowledge the fans at the end of the game as well
