I bet there is at least one person on here who does this.
All I would say to that person is this: If the pizza is so bad that it needs ketchup, then you shouldn't be eating it in the first place.

As a fervent anti-tomatoist, I have to admit that the squashed pulp of that delicious deity of a fruit should not be rammed into a bottle and turned into a strange viscosity liquid.
Ketchup is evil and a contravention of the Tomato Rights Act.
It is even worse when it is put in a plastic rather than glass bottle. That is just taking the pips.

Oh fuck off, we've had a similar debate and ketchup is the devil's sperm. It will kill you. Don't do it. do not eat tomatoes or any derivative. Ketchup on pizza - tomato on tomato - bollocks. Girl on girl yes. tomato on tomato - bollocks..

If you've made the pizza yourself and you feel the need to have a sweeter more tomato finish to it then I suggest chucking in some sugar when you're making a tasty tomato pizza sauce + maybe adding more to the pizza base. If you're buying this pizza from elsewhere then fair enough, but you should probably look elsewhere for a pizza which hits your sweet not really that tomato-y flavour.

Go out to your local sainsburys and buy a Basics pizza... i bet you'll need some sort of ketchup to go with it. Good meal for a quid

I always put a bit of sugar in my tomato sauces because it takes the edge off it a bit. Good tipp that. I put a bit more in pizza sauce because it seems to taste better that way. My Mum's boyfriend is an ex-chef, yet he still puts ketchup on everything (and pizza). I'm sure I've even seen him put it on roast dinner after he spent ages making it, the lunatic.
