With an eye on next season, what players realistically would you want to sign.
I would like Owain Fon Williams from Stockport. They are in the shit financially so think he would be a good number one for us replacing Smith/Brezovan,.
Gordon Greer and Owain Tudor-Jones to stay as well....

I think OTJ will feel he has a future at Swansea.
Greer yes, Williams I also agree with, but if we looking at plundering Stockport I'd love us to get Pilkington...
If we sell Cox we could be looking at a different market.

I want Reading to go up, as it will increase the chances of us getting Robson Kanu on a season long loan. I dont think thats particually realistic though sadly, either way I think he will be playing in the championship next season, either for reading or someone they have loaned him to.
Other than the ones already here its a bit difficult to know who is available at our level and for the most part if they are any good or not unless we are talking spending big money

Agree Reading wouldn't have signed Robson-Kanu if they didnt think he could do a job there... Staiyng in L1 next season will limit his progress. Lower league Championship side I think next season I think especially as he is knocking on the door of the England side so....

Craig Mckail-Smith would be a decent double barrelled surname player to sign.

Have we not forgotten the disaster that was Charlie Comyn-Platt?
I suppose we could tempt Eric Djemba-Djemba here, or get Chris Bart-Williams out of retirement?
Or maybe my favourite Guylian Ndungu-Ndsungu (sp.)

there are some good players to be had on loan, as proved this year. If Ipswich can get dos santos, and QPR taraabt, then we could get some decent Championship players.

Meanwhile, former Town youngster Charlie Comyn-Platt is heading Down Under at the end of the month to join Australian side ECU Joondalup.
The defender is currently plying his trade in the Blue Square South for Weston-super-Mare, managed by ex-Swindon star Andy Gurney, and flies to perth to begin the new chapter in his career on Monday (March 30).
Comyn-Platt made 29 appearances, scoring two goals, for Town in between 2005 and 2007, and he will line up for new side Joondalup in the second tier of the Australian game - the Football West State League Premier Division.
