Are Jurassic 5 really a band? Beastie Boys is a bit more understandable considering they can all play something (and play it well), and have done on records. Pharcyde would be acceptable too.
I'm not having hip-hop in my five. In order, best first:
Radiohead Genesis Cornershop Kings Of Leon Arcade Fire

Indeed, Cornershops 'Lessons learned from Rocky I to Rocky III' is an absolute true barnstorming classic.....

Manics Killers Polyphonic Spree Meat Loaf James.
I could list 20 easily. And eveyone else has clash and jam so i'm omitting them.

If being able to play an instrument is one of the criteria, then my list reduces to 1.

Yeah but is Neil Young a band? I'd say he's more a solo artist.

Right I was just going by the fat title...think it would have been better to have had a thread for solo artists and another for bands...

Most of the time he's been either with CS&N or Crazy Horse, so guess he can sneak that through.

Surely that should be Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young?
