I am pretty crap at this game, but now the summer has arrived and the promise of wet weekends are in store, I may have to spend it practicing. I still play on 3 stars but I see some people play on 6!! How the hell can u do this? The maximum I can see is 5 stars!!
Any general tips for becoming good at the game (apart from good old fashioned practice!!) I struggle with defending, heading the ball and generally being very rash in the tackle (young man!!)

you have to unlock 6 star by wining stuff. Id recomend just bashing it on the highest level possible. It will train you better.
For heading make sure you cross with double tap as it goes lower and faster.
but yeah, practice

I don't think 6 stars is that much harder than 3 stars, there's not much difference apart from one star and two star I tend to get a lot of 0-0's on six stars, No problem defending but it's tough scoring unless I play as Brazil.
