3 poor peices of defending cost us again, the 3rd a right rickett from Sean i think, not sure whther its because they have no confidence in brez, but panicing cost us dear, oh and shooting practice wouldnt go amiss, some shocking shooting tonight god knows how many times we hit the back of the stands, if we could have got some more on target their goalie didnt look much, didnt think anyone had a stinker as they def put the effort in, but no one really stood out, disappointing as they were no better than us and were there for the taking.

Oh i forgot they must have the worlds shortest footballer, he could have been 5 foot at a big stretch, and the little bastard still scored!

Albino cunt.

Poor performance all round from us, not sure I would have thrown Tudor straight into the midfield like that without at least a couple of days on the training pitch with the team.

At least now backwards logic dictates we will definately win at leeds.

Just got back. Most of the team were shit today. Brezovan specifically never caught one ball in the first half and was to blame for one of the goals. Would like to see Phil Smith back in goal to see if he can get the number 1 shirt back. Brez was shit, Timlin was shit. Cox appears to have given up. Macca had his moments, Marshall dove as soon as he came on as he did against Frecklington on Saturday. For the first 25 minutes none of the team knew what they were doing or seemed to know where they should be playing. Its going to be very difficult now so stay up but not impossible. If we can limp through this season and stay up, we need a massive cull whether we be in L1 or L2. Doesn't matter, The players simply dont seem to care. We will play well Saturday as its against a decent side. Next week is an absolutely massive week. Lose the next 3, then we are well and truly down. I think Wilson will neeed to look at bringing his own backroom staff in, in the summer but will it really do anything??? We just looked completely clueless and there didnt ever really look to be a game plan. Players didnt run for anything and just stood there blaming each other half the time.

does anyone on here still rate Brezovan? - Granted I've only seen him about 10 times but I haven't once felt confident with him in net. It is so frustrating to have to read 'from a Brezovan flap' or 'from a poor punch from Brezovan' etc. We should have cashed in on this fella when we had the chance and got a proper keeper in.

Frecklington is'nt at MK Gazza, and as for Marshall diving, that was a definite foul as was saturdays from Lewington.
Brez- Shaky first half, too much punching which cost us, second half he caught everything and looked better.
Manky, started v badly and only a bit better after that
Vincent, average
Morrison, clear error for the 3rd and pretty sure it was him leaving platt unmarked for the others, long throws not much else.
Greer, steady.
Macca, good outlet but didnt do much damage, and shock of shocks a bollocking for a bad tackle!
Timlin, crap
Tudur jones, i'll be polite and say i didn't notice him doing anything rubbish.
Kanu, good goal and was looking our most threatening player, not sure why he was taken off.
Paynter-huffed and puffed, missed a sitter of a header 1st half.
Cox, not very good, poor shot/pass selection, played too deep.

Ground not bad, steps very steep and a little breeze blockish but not as bad as leicester.
Car park!!! Appalling, needed a boat to get to the stadium, they need to look at that sharpish.
Programme statto needs to be sacked littered with errors on us, and even had Nardiello playing for us!!
Result poor, and could have gone either way at 2-2 they upped their game, we sat back, game over!

I kept faith in him to recapture his form. He hasn't, and neither had Smith. Brez has had a chance and can't complain if he is dropped.  Would still like to know whether the attempted punching  is down to coaching or an individual descision. Either way I don't blame Granville really.

We have gone from a situation where we had 'two good keeper with one needing to leave sooner or later because they are too good to sit on the bench' to where we are today - they can both sod off!

Honestly though I still don't know why we have gone backwards so quickly. Sure we lost Miguel, Robbo and Zaboub - is that all it took to send us into shittyness? Or is it all abot confidence? Or what?

Oh fucking deary me!  What a disaster!

Danny Wilson told the team to keep it tight for ten.  They did.....for about ten seconds.
Goal down inside a minute and if Colchester could shoot we could of been 4 zip down in ten minutes.
We got back into the game with the pen, looked as if we could score (glaring miss from Paynters head) and then conceded a shit goal in the last minute.
Second half we looked better got the leveller and then threw it all away with another balls up.
Heres my sum ups for what its worth:
Brezovan:Punches everything and doesnt seem to be able to catch a thing...big ironic cheer in the second half when he came out and caught a cross.
Amankwaah:Still prefer him in Midfield but he did ok.
Morrison: Not great....clear your lines son!
Greer: Solid enough.
Vincent: Not good for me and shaky.
Robson-Kanu: Nice goal but needs to run into that box a bit more.
(Marshall 77): First time i have seen him play since Malpas last game away at Brighton and i thought he did well as he attacked from the off and he was chopped down at every turn.
Timlin: Pants - really poor - the end. Bye
Tudur Jones: 'missing' for me and a huge fuck up miss kick for their last goal when he had about ten inutes to take nine touches before clearing it. Doh
(Razak 90),: Not enough time to see him.
McNamee: Played better but needs to run into the box.
Cox: Indifferent. Now hes got 20 goals i hope it helps his game.
Paynter: Won alot of headers and held the ball up well but never seemed to be in the right place at the right time - woeful miss with the free header in the first half. Sad..alot easier to execute than the MK goal he nabbed.
Subs Not Used: Phil Smith, Ifil, Nalis.

Summary - gifted a mediocre team (who have taken 6 points and scored 6 past us) a win. Town allowed a five foot midget to boss the game. How many headers did that cunt win for fucks sake? How he never got MOM is beyond me.
Couldnt defend again and i lost count of how many clearence kicks we spooned into the air inside the penalty area. Brez punched no further than the edge of the box.

Said it once or twice and i will say it again:

'Relegation is a cup and our name is on it'. Huh? 1st Place

Not taking three points of Cheltnumb was enough to suggest that the end is nigh.

I am sorry to say that i predict a real spanking at Elland Road on Saturday and I will be there to see it.

Yep training this week should be Brez catching, Forwards shooting on target, find someone who can take a free kick round the box (how many did we waste?) Utilise Morrisons throws ( doesn't matter how long and accurate they are if you only put 3 in the box with no follow up from midfield), and sort the corners out, near post every time/short corners dont work! I bet they only had 2 or 3, 6 footers in the whole side, did we take advantage, no!

Flattest away game I've been to this season, players weren't up for it and neither were 99% of our supporters. Why go all that way to support the team if all you're going to do is sit there?
Relegation is now rapidly approaching and while I agree that the majority of our team aren't good enough, they don't even appear to try half the time.
The albino midget that played for Colchester last night epitomised what we lack: a midfielder who doesn't stop running; who tackles; who links up play; who never gives up.
Our players lose the ball and stop running; we never close down the opposition; we don't create space; we never look for the ball and we're afraid to get in the opposition's box.

I left my house at at 12.30pm yesterday and got home at 2.45 this morning. I am slighty pissed off that I didn't even see my team make an effort.

Ed raised the point last night that Cox is too much all over the pitch. He then asked Wilson his thoughts on this and Wilson was saying he liked that and mentioned something like Wayne Rooney.

Anyway, the only player who does all that is Cox, but as you say Hertha we need that from a midfielder. It's problematic with Cox because he's forever out of position.

Its also obvious that we are not getting any luck and rebounds always seem to go to the opposition.

We need plenty from now on if we are to beat the drop!
