Meh. Relegation isn't the end of the world. Might help rejuvenate some spirit at the club if we can put in a reasonable campaign. God knows we need it.
IF we can bounce straight back it wouldn't be the end of the world by any means, it might put us a year or so behind our plans but in the grand scheme of things a choice between season of mid-table obscurity in league 1 or a promotion from league 2 i'd probably go with seeing us win most games - unfortunately it might not work out that way, although i suspect it probably would, especially if we could keep hold of our actual football players |

I think it will too. The new boards biggest mistake hasn't been Malpas or taking too long to appoint Wilson, it's the "Championship in 3 years" nonsense they spouted when they first took over - stood against all there other signals of running the club as a tight, leak-proof, ship.
Annoyingly, much of what they have been doing is right. I'm not going to turn on them myself, but I expect many others will. |

I think I agree with everything there. And whilst I see it worrying that we'd have no safety net from the non-league, I still think I've got enough fan arrogance to keep the belief that it could never happen too us. Big Club small league might suit us for a few years, even if we can't get out straight away. |
