Hopefully he can over come the injury then
Not sure I like the idea of him returning as a striker though

Another player Malpas has fucked up for good.
Even if he was fit.

Moving him back to a striker, when he should have been learning his new trade as a midfielder.
Or even a centre back.
To be fair it looks like Brezovan and Ifil will recover from Malpas. Whereas Easton and Peacock wont.

His first game in charge was Nottingham Forest 2-1 to us.
Our central midfield was Easton and Peacock and we ran them into the ground (our preferred pairing all season).
Within a month we had Peacock in the reserves as the 3rd striker and Easton as a right winger. Neither have looked like first team players since.

He'll make a good number two. He does and says whatever he's told. Finnished as a player though.

And he never had what it took to be a midfielder. Watch the bloke at set pieces, he never wants the ball, he hasn't got the pace, the agility or the intelligence to be a first team midfielder.
