For the last four weeks I have been mainly surviving on a diet of beer, muesli and bananas.
Is this a balanced diet, or should I include something else? I know Lidel used to do baked beans for 9p a can, would that improve my nutritional intake?

More balanced would be Beer, Muesli, bannana's and more Beer, nice and rounded.

So instead of using milk, you're using beer?!

No. That would be silly.

Not really, I've got a load of muesli at home so I thought I'd save some cashing by not buying food. Can't go without my bananas or my beer though.

Why not combine them all - Simply pour Banana Bread Beer onto your cereal. That way you can stick to your diet and cut out all of those nasty vitamins.

I've read it three times over, but I still can't see the word 'meat' in your diet. Wheres the meat??

Many years ago, I decided that the ideal diet should consist of a works canteen dinner, then a balanced tea of bacon sandwiches, peanuts, an orange and yogurt.
Twas a time when the word cholesterol...was probably a holiday destination, and salt was considered good and bunged into all cooking. You could buy big blocks of the stuff.
The bird I shared the house with, used to eat tinned mackerel, cottage cheese and salads, she was middle class and told me, my diet with the occasional black pudding binge wasn't very healthy.
Living in N London, I'd discovered kebabs which had salad in them, so I changed my diet to canteen food and kebabs.
