well no because hes out of contract in the summer, so we wouldnt need to buy him. We can offer him a contract now as he's got under 6 months left.

So we could agree a pre-contract agreement like Comminges and Cardiff last season.

So Doncaster have no right to sign him 1st even if they wanted to?

as far as I understand he's a free agent in the summer and if we offer him a contract starting July 1st (going on his running out June 30th which is all a bit FM but likely to be accurate) and he signs the pre contract agreement to say he will join us when his current contract runs out then Doncaster cant do much about it.

If they want to keep him they'd have to offer him a contract before he signed another one from another club.

I think

hopefully no big kicks needed, play it around, from defence to attack along the floor,we cant lose possession then, hopefully if our passing is up to scratch.

Cheltenham are 9/2 outsiders.

I'm not convinced that they'll just roll over anyway, but given that the weather will make things awkward for both sides, that is a good price should you wish to soften any potential blow.

They are fielding a team of youths and reserves. We really can't afford to lose this.

I'm hoping they'll "do a Weymouth" and Cox can add a few goals to his tally.
Or more likely is we'll get a player sent off early on and the rest of the match will be spent hoofing the ball from one end of the pitch to the other and Ifil will make one of his mistakes and they'll get a winner in the last minute.

Is there any proof of this? They've turned down a loan offer for Damian Spencer so surely they'll play whoever is available.
