Exactly. Gazza - you've done nothing but spout bollocks in this thread..

You are correct, sorry, Well played lads, top effort this season, enjoyed every minute of it! So unlucky to be in the shit with the 110% effort put in every game. I do apologise, i expect more of the same for the rest of the season please.

Again you are confusing lack of effort with being unable to defend and as pointed out your comparison with 05/06 was laughable.

ok IN MY OPINION then.... Apart cfrom the 7-0 loss. The players WERE SHIT. so that includes Whalley, Shakes, etc , BUT Even though they were shit, I thought
They tried. Ok Shakes would go nowhere near goal but they would run about etc… I find this season we stand around a bit too much. Whalley was shit but tried, Paul Smith was ok but injured. We didn’t have a real manager that season who had any experience so we couldn’t get any decent players in due to the penny pinching upstairs at the time. My main point was you can accept a loss (well I can) if the effort is there and for whatever reason we don’t seem to gel, are there too many egos? No one cares? Morale low? Who knows only the players know why really… But I saw shit players the year we went down but for the most part the effort was there. Not many fans were on their backs, Ok perhaps this was partly down to the fact we had not been told “championship in 3 years” etc. Most knew at Barnsley that season we would be crap. Obviously I saw something different. I saw more effort from that team combined. That’s not to say this year we have not seen any effort, its just the same 4 or 5 who consistently put the effort in.

Gaz. Don't do the opinion thing. It doesn't make what you say more valid, just shows that you can't back up what your saying. Just because something's your opinion doesn't make it equal to others people's views.

yes it does;)

I agree with Fred, and I totally over estimated how good our squad was. I actually thought we were good enough for upper mid table min. When in fact we are full of shit, Greer and Coxy

When in fact we are full of shit, Greer and Coxy
The Swindon Team is full of shit,
The Swindon Team is full of shit,
Full of shit, Greer and Coxy,
The Swindon Team is full of shit

Don't see it catching on.

I'm with Lucien and what I think Gazza was trying to say before he got lost in the rose-tinted spectacles of our "valiant battling relegation fight" (Huh??) last time round - for example, if we'd lost at Leicester, I'd still have come away happy because what we saw was a team giving it their all and playing some great football. And that's what I pay to see. Doesn't necessarily mean they're not trying the rest of the time, but we've not seen enough of that kind of spirit this season.

PS This is my OPINION and as such it trumps all other arguments, especially Ben's
