Please stop. Make as much noise as you like when we score, but this constant noise is driving some fans mad.

Jesus Christ! If they can only make noise when goals go in they'll make Caldey Island monks look like chatterboxes deserving of a noise ASBO.

I have a feeling this is the result of someone sending out a request without understanding what the problem was and football in general.  I reckon this is people moaning about kids banging the stand or seats (which plenty of people whine about on here) rather than people shouting or cheering.  The safety bod knows nothing about football, as they often don't, and thinks people are complaining about noise in general, or at the very least forgot to say "stop banging the bloody seats".

This is clearly a clever bluffamertron. Boro fans will clearly be extra loud for the next few games now, creating an awesome atmosphere.

this was talked about last night on talksport.the noise complained about isn't general singing-chanting in support of the team.it's mindless idiots spoiling it for other supporters.boro fans were texting-e-mailing in saying it was a mindless minority spoiling it,making noises and chants in no relation to the team or supporting the team.
