I own a local paintball centre just outside Swindon in the cotswold water park. If you have or know of any wood or building materials that you are looking to get rid of let me know and i can pick them up. You know how it is with the crunch etc, although it doesn't seem to be affecting us (touch wood), there is no point forking out loads of money when cheaper options are available. Previously we have had lot's of people contact us asking if we would like stuff as it is often cheaper than getting rid of it urselves. old sheds, fence panels etc let me know!

Also a note on Nationwide Paintball. You may have seen the recent promotions involving this company with GWR. This week we are getting our venue registered with them but it is disgusting what they are doing. They are basically a booking company which take bookings for paintball sites. They charge £15 to play, £20 with 100 paintballs and then send us the customer. So in affect you are spending shit loads and getting absolutely nothing for it. £20 with us direct can get you a half day package. However much i hate it purely because of their google ranking and gwr advertising we have no choice- if people go through the site then id prefer they end up at our site.

rant over.

www.combatsplat.com if you fancy playing. thetownend offers available.xxx

yeh we did, that was main reason for appealing for the wood etc just because we were going to get some more buildings up. It wasnt a bugularly as far as we know just damage, the locks were tampered with but not with much intent. most of it was repairable it was mainly the inconvenience factor but we got some publicity in the local papers so o well.

it depends whether you would like to go free urself or knock a bit off for the group. If over 20 people are booked you can get in free and on the same package as your mates. our current stag package is £32.50 pp- full day with local produce bbq, 600 paintballs, smoke grenade each and hunt the stag game between yourselves. I can do that for £30pp if you wanted? we are one of- if not the cheapest in the country so i dont like to budge prices too much!

on the nationwide paintball website?! if you want to pay £15 game fee just for turning up at the venue yes its reasonable!take a look at our website and see the definition of reasonable ha! www.combatsplat.com.

at the end of the day you will end up at our site if you go through them but it really pisses me off how they do no work to get that money and i have to explain to the customer when they get to the site how many hundreds they could have saved by booking direct with us.

My neighbours got two cars sat on his drive that are knackered. One's got a caved in rear-end (ooh-er) and the other's got a broken gearbox. I've been thinking about phoning the council to come and remove them because they're and eyesore and block part of my drive, but you could save me a job.
