Will be up for tomorow night big time..was abit of a suprise he left Pool and it seems it wasnt a happy split...maybe on the lines of the Slade episode at Yeovil,anyway the good news is that Joel Porter is very doubtfull for tomorows match.

Was just looking at some Hartlepool forums. Seem the fans were unhappy with Wilson for playing players out of position and so on. Perhaps that put pressure on the owners, though I'm not sure to what extent fans became restless.
He is doing the same here, but it is working thus far. And presumably it was working at Hartlepool as they are in free fall right now - now they have everyone in their proper positions:)
Either way tomorrow is a massive game.

I think he is doing ok so far with some very brave team selections.
The midfield still lacks leadership but if we keep picking up points who cares.
Lets hope we play against more nine man teams in the future.

Wilson and Slade left Hartlepool and Yeovil for simmilar reasons. Both clubs punched well above their weight for quite a few years and are now rapidly headed down the financial swanny.

I'm quite impressed with DW thus far. He likes passing football and seems tactically astute. One of the best things for me is, he's tamed the headless chickens that are Byrne and Williams. No more constant shouting and fucking hollaring and jumping around outside the dugout. It looks like they've been put in their place, DW's come in and said i'm the fucking boss, shut the fuck up and do as your told. Quite a contrast to Malpas who seemed to just let them run the show.
