Some comments from a few Scunny forums  We were the better team.
We had 2 unjustified sending off and Hayes had no support so we were more or less playing with 8 men. As the fans rightly chanted 4 - 2 to the referee. 4-2 down now

You've both cost us the game adkins you dont no what your doing when burn got sent off why the hell diden't you sub mirfin, necer liked mirfin waste of money and a big liability The fact we went into todays game with only three defenders in our sixteen man squad is nothing short of disgraceful. Joke Adkins. Absolutely stupid.
Byrne and Mirfin have cost us today from their stupidity.
Fine them both a weeks wage. Aww, are those grapes tasting a bit sour? |

GET IN! That's what i'll say. Lost all hope at half time but their bloke should have been sent off in the first but did get the red in the second. Thought we did well first 10 minutes but not for the rest of the first half. It was poor and un-inspiring like the Malpas days. But we got the lucky break we needed with them getting two reds then it was all us. Great win, great sub by Wilson to bring Macca on and we edged it with a great second half display. Roll on Hartlepool.
