Joe that is Peterbroughs keeper has made 2 awfull blunders in the last 2 matches...saturdays was on a par with Smiths v Leeds...Ferguson the manager has fully backed him and said hes the nunber one keeper and will start every match unless he gets injured. With Brez returning to his best form lets hope that when he makes a booby like all keepers do at times that he is backed the same way...for me hes shown hes our best keeper so ime hoping hes in every match from now on.
It seems a long time ago now but it didnt help at the beginning of the season with the keepers chopping and changing.

Difference is Lewis is the best keeper in the division and warrants backing because it's unusual, if you can say the same of Brez then I'll be suprised.

I agree with DMR.  There's backing players because they are quality and theres backing players just for the sake of it.

It also depends what Peterbro's no 2 is like really dosnt it?   If its an untried 17 year old, the manager is much more likley to stick with the experienced pro.

back to STFC Brez thoughrly deserved being dropped earlier in the season.  Smith also deserved to be dropped before he actually was.

I'm not a big fan of sticking with players who are out of form, it will cost the team points at the expense of one individuals ego

I suggest you speak to the posh fans and see if they think he is the best in the league. For the most of this season they have not thought he is even the best at the club

Mark Tyler is on loan in League Two while their other keeper is the rookie teenager James McKeown. It's probably safer to stick with Lewis me thinks.

I'll ask my Posh fan mate when he comes in later and get back to you. He is certainly highly rated at the club and by all accounts has had a good season. He did cost 400k so for that cash he should be pretty high up in the top keepers in League 1 I would have thought.

He seemed to compose himself abit half way through his sentence though. University education is obviously not a waste of time.
