if you click on the homepage of the townend.com it shows you your ip addy on the top lefthand side

Specify the question better.

Your PC's  local IP address, or the IP address used on the Internet. They may or may not be the same thing dependant on setup (typically not)

On XP, your PC's IP can be got by running "cmd"  (start/run) and typing "ipconfig" in the command prompt box.

It was for a static IP address fopr CCTV but its ok BT did it for me, cheers guys as always
