That was one hell of an opening salvo

I think it was the best performance all season. Every player gave 100 percent.

The Leicester fans near us, were facing us most of the game than the pitch. The two muppet Leicester women were more interested in attention from the Town fans. bints.

Had to pay £10 for parking, as street parking was shite. bastards.

Did win £24 on cox scoring first thou.

There was loads of street parking just 10 minutes from the ground in the college section.

All the streets we went down, had restrictions/clamping in operation. Didn't want to risk it.

We parked about 10 minutes away from the ground, out towards the M69. There wasn't much space about though and this was about midday

but job done, we managed to miss all the football traffic on the way out.

the short cut past that street worked, eventually.

You'd think they were day trippers dragged to the game by someone else. But one of them had a Leicester shirt on, so I can only assume they were transfixed by us superior away fans.

Just managed to get online.....Missus decided to paint the lounge whilst i was at Leicester.....unplugged the phone and wireless link unscrewed the shelves, painted the walls and reattatched the shelves covering the LAN plug thingy.

What a day!
Parked in the Leicester City car park whilst the boys spilled out to get tickets.
whizzed over to the Rugby ground for £3.
Into the Counting house boozer and into the ground.
Liked the ground......no surprise that the fans were cunts, especially 'Pepsi and Shirley' what pair of twats....did they see any of the game?
The lads were brilliant and i suppose a draw was about right but i really thought we would snatch it at the death.
When they hit the post i thought it was going to be our day!
Only Timlin for me looked out of sorts and i was surprised that he wasnt replaced by McNamee at the end so we could ping balls into the corner but i suppose it was so finely balanced for Wilson to call.
Back to Calne just before 8............
Off to Milwall on Tuesday night.....and i cant wait.

Today was fantastic. I can't complain about the performanc of a single player. We defended as a unit, the midfield didn't fall to pieces, and we caused a few problems for the dfence at the top of the league. Cox had a great game, as did Jack Smith. Brezovan didn't put a foot wrong either apart from one (or maybe two) misplaced kicks.

Wilson got the tactics spot on today, and although people have mentioned his lack of substitutions I really don't see how any changes would have been beneficial.

As for the fans, we totally outsung a pathetic set of home supporters and today was one of those days I was proud to be a Town fan. Even spending an hour behind a (presumably) pissed up and incredibly dangerous driver on he A429 coming home hasn't dampened my spirits!!!

Bring on the Millwall!

Get off my tail!!

Two other things of note for me yesterday, firstly the toilets were awful, no lights and just breezeblocks with small troughs, and i had the worst burger ever, well one bite of it, rank!
