weymouth lost 0-9 today.

First team refused to play so the youth team went out. They are truly in the shit, Will get an embargo this week so cant bring any players in and most likely will be kicked ot of BSP and BSS into the division Chippenham Town play in I think...

I have a friend who is a Weymuff fan and they are in deep deep shit now, almost certainly will be wound up before the end of the week.

Yesterday was a debacle for them and their results will almost certainly be expunged.

So winning 9-0 away wont even go into the record books.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the only club I would wish to go bust are the franchise.  I hope Weymouth do survive, good luck to them.  There but for the grace of the Trust go us...

They'll go out of business and the fans will start a new AFC Weymouth / Weymouth Athletic starting a few divisions lower. It's a shame that it seems to be the cycle with non-league clubs battling above their weight a bit, nobody really seems to pay much attention though, even when it's clubs who've had a few years in the football league. Bye bye Halifax. Bye bye Scarborough.

Yeah and the fans knew about the strike before the bookies and were placing big bets. The bookies lost a shitload of money.  Cheesy Cheesy

I never understand how someone who apparantly has £300k to invest then changes their mind after finding out that the club are in more difficulty than he thought.

How would you not know that in the first place as if you were going to invest that sort of money you would do some decent research i hope, plus it's common knowledge what a mess Weymouth are in, simple internet research taking 5 minutes would have stated the debt etc.
