Sad news today that Bill Frindall, aka The Bearded Wonder has died.

Great TMS statistican,author and cricket lover.RIP Bill.

I'm pleased he got 2 threads cos he was ace. Saw Aggers speak in Devizes town hall last year and being a local bloke, Bill was in the front row, heckling frequently.

Was a great evening.

On long days of painting the house or doing some other bit of tedious DIY, TMS is the only thing to keep interested, let alone sane, and I always enjoyed Bill's interjections and corrections. He is a great loss to the programme and to cricket.

A very sad loss, and lived locally too.  What is worrying is what he died from, legionnaires disease thought to have been caught whilst travelling back from Dubai!
