He'd been there a long time, but they had been struggling this season, and felt it was time for a change.

Wonder what will happen to Super Sammy, he played the first half yesterday, don't think he's scored too many for them if any. Mick Harford thinks Orient won't extend his loan spell and he will return to Luton, but he wants to get him off the wage bill because he's one of the higher earners at Luton, so is hoping someone else will come in for him. He did say though that he could a job for them if no-one comes in for him.

SSP's stats at Orient aren't good to see: 14 games, no goals.

He was booed by their fans before the game yesterday. Can't see another club being interested in him with that record (and his 2K a week wages)

They are not good stats, none of his are really since he left us.

If he could just get a couple of goals in a decent side the confidence would come back i'm sure, i think he got a few for Luton earlier in the season.

Maybe going back and getting a few more would do him good, then get a move in the summer (knowing he wouldn't get the wages he is on now)

Is there anyone left in a job who was linked with the managers job here?

Apart from Bryne who will probably go before the season is out.

Richard Money's still at Newcastle. Were we in for Russell Slade or was that a rumour?

lets sign Parkin, no goals in 14 games he'd come here and score with his first touch.

To be fair, SSP didn't do too well at Northampton either. Why did they let him go.

Sadly I can' see him being the same player now after all his shitty injuries.

Ling - I guess it was coming. Heard Barry Hearn saying he had reached his sell by date a minute ago. I'd rather have Wilson than Ling TBH.

Leyton Orient, why did you let Sam Parkin go?

I cant help but think Swindon being linked to Swindon is a  a bit of a curse though.

Could be playing for Luton tonight (because of cup-tied and injured players). It's sad that Parkin's career never progressed.

Let hope that he goes back to Luton and scores the goals for them and get's himself a move in the summer, shame it didn't work out at Orient though, maybe it is a blessing if he can score quite a few at Luton and get his confidence back he can stay in league football next season.
