I can't be bothered to read 22 pages, but this is what i saw of the players yesterday:

Brez - Played well, apart from one little wander he had in the second half. Made some good saves, could do nothing about the goals.

J.Smith - Did nothing defensively and little attacking. Let Roberts cut inside time and again, and if Roberts had a right foot we would have lost by 5.

Ifil - Looked like he was getting back to his best, sweeped up well. Can't complain with his performance because at times he was the only one.

Kanyuka - Looked abysmal, but on the very odd occasion he dealt with the ball well. He seemed to give a few free kicks away going up for the high ball too, whether they were or not I don't know. Out of position for the sending off too.

Amankwaah - Personally i thought he didn't have a bad game, dealt with that fat boy on the right well, and we looked stronger at the back when he moved to Centre Half.

Timlin - meh, nothing game. Gone done for pace a few times. Didn't really notice him.

Peacock - I can't actually remember him being on the ball or making a tackle - but i do remember seeing him running onto the pitch so i'm not really sure whether he played in truth.

Pook - Shit. I'm sorry, for the all the praise he's got previously through the season today he totally undone it with that performance. Shit on the ball, positioning was crap.

McGovern - Tried his best going forward. Tried to help deal with Roberts but neither Smith or Pook/Peacock stopped him from going inside so he was wasted today. When we got the ball down it went through him.

Paynter -  Shit service to him. When we did play it on the ground or when he held it up we looked ok, and it ended up going down our right. People get on his back for being a shit target man, but he's only as shit at the service he got today.

Cox - Came much deeper i thought because of the shit service. Took his goal well, and in truth had another chance from a corner which fell to him. Didn't do anything wrong, but not much else right bar the goal.

Subs:

Collectively they made us look a better side going forward as we moved the ball on the deck. Macca popped up and got into decent positions to get crosses in despite half of them not gettin past his marker which was disappointing to be fair.
You could actually notice we had a centre midfielder on the field when Easton was on, he should have started. Closed them down, gave a couple free kicks away but at least he showed something plus we were "chasing" the game by then.
Sturrock ran the channels well, held the ball up well and got into good positions. Can't complain was our biggest threat. Unlucky with his header as well, had the keeper beat.

I stayed up in Yarkshire with a couple of old uni mates last night and they said how well our "massive" left back played. I didn't think he had a bad game, just shows how people see the game differently. Maybe he looked better because everyone else was much worse and he wasn't up against Roberts all afternoon.

I think he probably had a better second half, when he was up the other end from town fans.

I don't think Amankwah did anything noticeably bad, but then he didn't do anything noticeably good either.

Sounds like good defending to me

How do we know wilson has come in pussyfooting around?

Just his persona makes me think that. I reckon he could be a wet blouse at times. He doesn't seem the type to shake things up and get angry. Maybe I'm wrong.

Wilson has already banned phones from the training ground and both Bodin and Peacock have said in interviews it is now a more professional set up and that things were to relaxed under Malpas.

How sad, but you know what my big hope is?

Its that last season when the fans started to go mental and say 'look if you dont pull your socks up we will be relegated' they did, and we got a few results. The squad is a worse than last season. Im sure the players think there is more in the tank, but we shall see.

For me. I think half of them are shit. This cannot be allowed to go on another season. If you dont want to give 100% then FUCK OFF FUCK OFF AND FUCK OFF YOU again.

I REPEAT IF WE SURVIVE THEN HALF THE SQUAD HAVE TO GO. You cannot keep on at the bottom half every season in the football league, the drop will get you in the end.

The difference between Swindon & Huddersfield.
Lee Clark was qouted in the press on Saturday as saying at his interview that he would only accept the job if he could bring in his own coaching staff, which he did.
Fitton appoints DW,which (in my opinion) was on the proviso that he worked with the present coaching team, that being the cheap option.
The result being Huddersfield are winnning whilst we are not.

DW has never taken an entourage when he's moved to new clubs previously, so saying he was told he had to work with the existing staff is a bit presumptuous.

God I hate it when people feel the need to point out something is their opinion, as if it somehow adds validity to what they are saying. Especially when it's used as a replacement for backing up why someone thinks something. It's like there's a belief that because it's an opinion, it's automatically equal to everybody elses. Not all opinions are equal, they're only as good as the reasons you've come to them, and the knowledge you have on the subject.

Unless of course it's possible that a post could be misinterpreted as being the views of someone else. I suppose that's a fair enough use.

That's just my opinion, of course.
