Is that what he said on the radio?
That outburst is very out of character. Maybe he is starting to feel the pressure.
D.W. actually said we weren't good enough, no complaints with the result (i.e., we were shit). Brez and Amanka singled out for praise. Believes some of the younger players need to be rested for a game or two. Believes one or two new faces will lift the club. If he took almost an hour to appear from the dressing room, he must have had a slightly different version for the press. Indicated players are playing with fear (the Malpas influence IMO).

He indicated that everyone has an opinion and that not all opinions are necessarily equal. In a court of law, second or third hand opinions are hearsay and have little or no weight. The commentators comments as well as D.W.'s were convincing that we were poor until the sending off and then we played better getting the ball down. By then the game was lost, so no reason to be fearful.

apart from that he praised Amankwaah. He is one of the worst full backs I have ever seen (Casal is even worse). He cant head the ball, he cant tackle, he cant play offside. He can dribble a bit, but his control is still pretty crap. Just a total reject.
Yeah Timlin was having a few mares, but he was there for a reason, and that reason is that we dont have full backs who are up to it. Even Jack Smith, hes not the first player that needs replacing by a long way, but he isnt a good player either.
I knew we would miss Commingues. What I didnt realise was that it wouldnt be his runs and crosses that we would miss, but his passion and spirit. He must have squared up to other players about 4 times last season, cant remmember seeing that at all this season.

we have a pretty shit squad bar the odd exception.is it good enough to stay up?i'd say so just about.but our defence is diobolical, the midfield aint up to much either, neither are the keepers or the forwards.oh?!?!. we might go down. if so fitton has alot to answer for.him and his croneys are fucking loaded.why buy a football club if not throw a bit of money at it?it wont break their vast fortunes so why not boost the playing staff with some quality? yeah they saved the club.blaa blaa blaa and have put some of their pocket money in,but relegation one year in would be a fucking major let down.they already face losing loads of season ticket holders(unless they come up with something) the board should speculate to accumilate.give fans something to get them excited again.wilson and the odd loan-nobody player wont do this

I agree, and despite the amount he divided opinions, Roberts temperament and unpredictability made him the sort of player we could really use in the midfield at the moment. The fact he had pace helped too. There's no real energy about us now, I'd say our most potent player going forward (other than Cox) has been Jack Smith. Quite worrying considering he's supposed to be a defender. Wilson's only been here 5 minutes and I don't think we should under estimate the damage Malpas caused us. Set pieces have improved, that was definitely one key factor in our shitness. I hope that other things will follow when Wilson gets the team working on them. He does need to make his mind up on his starting eleven though, we're getting back into the Malpas trap. Is Wilson taking too much of Byrne's advice? Is Byrne actually Grima Wormtongue?

Motherwell were suffering from the damage Malpas did to them for while as well. We need a total shake up including probably letting the goalkeeping coach and Ady go. then bring in some fresh blood. It seems as Fitton is reluctant to pay agents fees etc which makes good business sense, it is scuppering any sort of deals and players wont come here.

no good letting the keeper coach and ady go (no matter how piss poor they are) if we wont splash out for replacements.
Of course paying off Malpas would have taken a chunk out the budget, we're probably still paying Roberts something as well.
