I hope so. I used to like Beckham as a player. He really was one of the best.

Then he went to LA Galaxy when he clearly still had a few years left in him, to me it almost seemed like he had sold out and would rather be a 'celebrity' than a footballer.

I'd love to see him go back to being a footballer, at a decent level just to remind everyone why he's one of the best English footballers we've seen for many years.

Yeah I'd be outraged that I had league winners medals from england and spain, over a hundered international caps and £100's of millions in the bank.

Whilst all thats true,  there is obviously apart of him that still wants to play football at a decent level. Otherwise he wouldnt be at Milan now.

He wants to continue playing for England which is why he's at Milan now. The pair of them have set themselves up nicely in the US with her fashion rubbish and his "soccer" schools, I just can't see them moving again.

At the end of the day it's all down to Vicky, not Dave.

....and wasting away in a shit league, in a country where football is the 8th most popular sport, for the last couple of seasons of your glittering career.

i bet he regrets going to the USA where the football is shit. playing for Milan would have reminded him how good it is to be at a top side, in a good league.

the only rational reason to go to america is money. but they have loads already. it must be down to victoria as you say.

Without doubt Beckham went to the U.S. too early, and perhaps more importantly wasn't followed by players like Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo or Pavel Nedved. He ended up the only real marketable "marquee" player.
