Zidane, the greatest footballer of all time, bar none. And Le Tissier. I maintain to this day that England with Shearer up front as a target man and Le Tissier in a free role, would have been awesome

Button nosed Le Tissier had his opportunity for England and squandered it ! Never endeared himself to Town fans either so Bollocks to him !

Only went to the Dell once, some toss game v Lincoln in a cup I think, never been to a ground where you're so close to the pitch. That triangular end was a bit odd.
Here comes Reg to prove me wrong about being close to the pitch...............

Standing at Spurs in the old days was strange....you could stand almost below pitch level, your head would be below the players...the game looked totally alien.

So Danjackson10 great goals no doubt with loads of skill required....all for Southampton and none in an England shirt, I'm not sure that closes the debate ? anyway his nose is so tiny !

If I remember correctly he scored 3 goals and hit the woodwork in a B game and then wasn't picked again.

Capped for England on more than a couple of occasions I think and I'm pretty sure without scoring ! I remember he missed a golden chance in an important qualifier (V Italy ?) it was a header that he should have scored but then with that hooter weighing him down I suppose he has an excuse. Anyway great for his club but flattered to deceive for England so for me not an all time great !
