lets not forget Sturrock was a microwaved Pastie for the old regime. 5-4-3-2-1 beeeeeeeeeeeep!
Ha ha ha!!!!! Good one YR. Sturrock should have been a massive frozen leg of lamb for STFC, it was only because the club couldn't afford the electricity bill that they had to make him a pasty. I'm sure that if AF had arrived just a month earlier he'd still be here today defrosting away.

DW came accross as trying to be upbeat and positive,i don't think he was ever going to start saying that players X,Y and Z had to go,but he did hint that some players won't like decisions he makes.Sturrock used to emphasise how he went by "First impressions" Shakes and Fola obvious choices then.Take your pick now Danny.....
The phone-in never really had any momentum, because of the 2 news bulletins,2 traffic and weather reports.

I've listened to it and I wasn't disappointed by Danny Wilson or his comments. They were just as generic as what I've heard Sturrock and Malpas talk about previously on the wireless.
I'd like to hear Wilson on the radio in a month or so because then signings will have come in (hopefully) and games have been played (hopefully) and it will be well and truly his set-up getting the results.
Is it true Danny Wilson still lives in Barnsely? He used to get a lot of stick at Bristol City and Hartlepool for living away from the club

Interview went as expected, D.W. knows what needs to be done, and has the disclaimer that it needs to be done as quickly as possible.
Getting rid of the background staff would immediately mean more work when there is too much to do in the next few weeks already.
An uninteresting interview, but I would had been concerned if it had been any different.

A load of bollocks. Too much time taken up repeating the news, weather and road reports. Are there any nerds out there who know how much time was spent on the interview?

The BBC summary on the website is 34 mins, assume that is without all the interruptions.
