Wonder if Wootton Bassett side KC FC will allow Jonathan Wilkes to have a run out at this? He is such a dreamboat.

The money is going to a cancer charity, Roberts's dad died of cancer in October I think it said.

Poyet, Wise, Zola, Hasselbaink, Parkin and Bodin confirmed.

i wont be attending due to work, but doubt i would have gone anyway.
gurney was more deserving of a game like this, as he served us better before having to retire due to injury.

Arriba couldn't disagree more. Gurney was an absolute cunt and would probably feature in my all time worst XI. I actually don't think either of them deserve a benefit game but with the proceeds of this one going to Cancer Research then I hope it is packed out.

i dont think either deserve one but used gurney as an example.if its all going to charity(which i doubt)then fair enough.
why would gurney feature in an all time worst 11 for you? i think he is one of our better players of the last 10 years, despite his flaws.

Positionally inept, gave the ball away too often, tackled like a flat track bully, gobby fucker with the ref, played for himself not the team. 'Nam away, Hewlett etc.
I just didn't like the bloke and didn't rate him.

Wasn't Gurney still playing until recently? He may even be playing at the moment, I just can't be asked to look it up.
