are Easton and Peacock afraid to shoot from 25 yards out. They both had opportunites to have a pop but they decided to be to intrecut(sp)
i see what you're saying and agree we either play the agricultural ball from the centrebacks and hope something happens or we over play and they can't figure out who's going to put it in the net. sigh

Cox looks to me like he is gone already, mind is elsewhere me thinks. JPM MOTM for Swindon by a country mile, Smith was the only other player that did alright! I am Timlins biggest fan but he was absolute garbage today.
The only players that I would be hacked off about going at the moment would be Timlin, Brez, Smith and maybe JPM when he can be bothered. Obviously I would like Cox to stay, but if his head is somewhere else cash in on him now. The rest might as well fuck off tbh.
The worse performance I have seen from us this season, which is probably a good thing because Wilson will be under no illusions. I thought Brighton were a poor side too, the difference today being one Nicky Forster. He pissed the townend off big time, but he turned our defence inside out today and won the 3 points for the bum boys!
Thank god Danny has 2 weeks to try to do something with them!

On the bright side, at least Danny Wilson is under no illusions as to where our problems are.
Brighton looked pretty good, what are they doing in the bottom half? Strong, determined, organised, and played to a very clear and well executed game plan. They're not going down.
We looked tired. I can only wonder what kind of training we've been doing for the last 6 weeks.
Good post. All M.M talked about was working on the training ground. The defence were probably over instructed and now don't have a clue on the basics. Danny Wilson's interview gave me some optimism, he doesn't seem to have any illusions. Brighton would have come in very confident, we have not played well against them since the play-off disaster. Forster scores for fun against us.

What a load of fooking shit.
Brez - no chance with either goal. HAD to come out for the second because our wank central defence let a goal kick bounce through the middle leaving their effectively man one on one. Do not agree he flapped in the slightest.
Jack Smith. Solid steady eddy game. Kanyuka- utter wank with a 50p head. I assume his MOM was a joke vote. Ifil. Did a few things OK, but mostly wank. Timlin - awful game for him. His 1st bad performance at LB
Easton - Dog shit. What has happened to him? Peacock - See Easton. Nalis. At least tried to pass around but mainly avaerage. JPM - MOM by a country mile.
Blair - Was Blair. tries hard. Lacking in skills but works hard. Cox - Completely pissed off with his rolling on the floor then moaning to the ref attitude. He a good player, so get on with playing. That said he was fairly anonymous save 1 run and shot over. ----- McNamee - tried to take em on and get em in the box. Didn't always work but he gave it a go. Corr - couldn't really change the game.

Phil King said as much in the commentary, he didn't think that Cox's head was in the game. Wouldn't be surprised if Cox is sold. Even if Cox is good enough to make the England team, it wouldn't matter with a defence that collectively can't defend. With the financial crunch, players will need clubs more than ever, and clubs will need to unload.

I totally agree with Batch, although I thought Nalis was utterly rubbish.
JPM played his heart out today - shame none of the others could be bothered to do the same.
Cox is really starting to annoy me with his whinging and diving etc. just get up off the ground and get on with it and lose the spoilt brat attitude.

My musings from today...
2 goals in 2 games can be attributed to Brez, that second one he was comical for, after initially doing well.
Coxy has no touch at the moment, and seems more preoccupied with falling over and/or arguing with the ref/linesman
Peacock was gash again. I really don't rate him
Sturrock was doing okay, they subbed the wrong striker
Corr doesn't jump or contest 50% of the balls to him
JPM looked like he gave a fuck (again) as did Timlin
That'll do for now... i'm so disappointed

Cox lost the ball for the 1st goal, while the Brighton players were celebrating he goes up to the ref and have a go. Stop Moaning!!! Also how overweight was the linesman at the Arkells stand.

Where were you sat? Looked like he made a good save and was maybe fouled preventing him from getting up and getting the ball away. Maybe it looked differently from the Town End. Not a dig by the way, but both you and Bennet picked him for being at fault where as I couldn't see it.

In the Don Rogers... the initial save was good, but then he didn't gather the ball or clear it from danger from what i could see. Of course, he could have been being fouled, but the ref was right there and saw nothing, and Brez has the advantage of being massive and able to use his arms, so i am/was of the opinion that he should have finished what started off as a good bit of 'keeping.

Also, thought we should have had 2 penalties today. 1 on Peacock in the 1st half and 1 on Kanyuka in the 2nd.
